Maker's Mark 46  Kentucky Bourbon 47% 

Created as the first in a series of wood finishes, the cask is first used to mature a cask strength that's then bottled, the casks then have additional French virgin oak staves added to the cask to add another dimension to the finished bourbon. 

Nose: Bold fruit and spices mingle with some dried apricot and vanilla pod. 

Palate: Rich textured mouth feel with a sweet caramel and fruit note, lingering smooth finish from this rather well balanced Bourbon
