Kilbeggan Distillery Established 1757
This is the worlds Oldest Whiskey / Whisky Distillery in production, I doubt its title will be overtaken anytime soon.
The distillery was revived from its slumber in 2007.
The Distillery still uses some very ancient equipment including. From old mash tuns and fermenters still in their original positions and the new Kilbeggan malt spirit is made on ancient pot stills including one that is over 186 years old.
The Chimney Carries the Name Locke's Whisky, This is another brand the distillery was known for, with a new expression released alongside the Kilbeggan back in the 2010's
