Finished in a 1st Fill Oloroso Hogshead with some of the richest, fruitiest flavours we’ve come across in a malt of this age.
Nose: Sweet dark fruits with damson and hints of orange with a soft chewy caramel toffee. Chocolate fudge and sweet red berries.
Palate: More of the nose on the palate of this rich smooth elegant dram, the rich fruity Christmas cake notes are superb, soft milky chocolate, maraschino cherries and a final hit of red currant. A subtle spice makes the finish so enjoyable.
