Rye

Rye whiskey is produced in a similar way to bourbon whiskey but uses a mash bill that contains over 50% rye. The result is a complex and spicy whiskey. Almost discontinued entirely following prohibition, rye whiskey is undergoing a resurgence with many of the most established bourbon producers now bottling rye whiskies.
