This Speyside single malt has been matured in First fill and Refill bourbon hogsheads bottled at the drinking level of 46% 

NOSE:  Oily, hops and malted barley aromas mingle with orchard fruits like apple and pears with a slight undertone of fresh cut wood. 

PALATE: As the nose suggests this dram is a power house on the palate, deep earthy and oily notes coat the front of the palate to deliver a hit of opal fruits and candied orange with a tangy spice.

This dram can open in the glass over a few minutes with a drop of water its ready to go. the marriage of fresh and refill casks has created and old school style with a modern take on complexity.
