Glenrothes 9 Year Old / 2011 / Carn Mor / Oloroso / 47.5% / 70cl
Nose: Ripe orange and hints of all spice, dark red grapes with a touch of sweet oak, a little hint of spent matches draw the nose in to an exceptionally rich sherry note.
If the nose is this good the palate will definitely deliver.
Palate: The first thing that will hit you is a very rich fruit note, some spice and then a rich opulent mouth coating of winter fruits with a hint of cherry and almonds more fruit but this time its a soft baked cake note.
This dram is young and very taste forward, let this breath in the glass you will find much more than you expected in a good way.
