Distilled at Tobermoray distillery est 1798 the distillery has had some much needed renovations carried out in recent years of this truly iconic distillery.
Nose: Some spices with a back-note of fruit some treacle and spiced apple, summer coastal notes of gentle iodine and dried seaweed with charred wood and vanilla add to the richness of the nose.
Palate: The palate is very well balanced from the start, soft subtle oak and winter spiced fruit cake, the dram grows with some amazing rich sweet smoke, tangy spices rolls in and out as the palate fills with this great tasting single malt.
