Milroy’s Tasting Events are a great introduction to the world of distilled spirits. For over 50 years we have been at the forefront of tasting experiences in London come along to join us for our ever-popular public tasting events. Predominantly featuring legendary Scotch whisky distilleries and independent bottlers, we can lead you through the Highlands of Scotland to Islay, through the various styles of Single Malt, Grain, and Blended whisky. Tasting events are catered for all, from novice to seasoned taster, you will be in for a treat!

Milroy’s has hosted events in partnership with Macallan, Ardbeg, Springbank, Lagavulin, Gordon & Macphail to name a few. As well as traditional Scotch whisky producers we are proud to welcome distillers from the world over, including Suntory & Nikka from Japan, Buffalo Trace & Jim Beam from America. Occasionally we host events showcasing rums, cognacs and more – best keep an eye out for these.

Our Milroy’s Monday sessions start at 6:30 finishing 8:00 pm but do allow a moment or two longer, as the conversation has been known to continue afterwards.

More than anything else you will have a fun evening with our team in the historic surroundings of Soho.

UK shipping – excluding Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands

In the UK we use Parcelforce to make sure you get your order as quickly as possible. Standard deliveries typically take 2-4 business days.

We offer free delivery on orders over £100. For orders under £100 we charge a flat rate of £4.95 for standard delivery (2-4 business days) and £6.95 for express delivery (1-2 business days for orders placed before 11am).

International shipping

The great news is that we can ship to many countries! Our logistics partners operate using ‘zones’, outlined below. Rates also depend on the weight of your order. The best way to get accurate shipping costs is to use the checkout tool.

A note on tax and customs charges. You won’t pay UK tax on international orders, but you’ll likely be charged local duties and customs fees. These are calculated separately, and are payable by you when your order enters your country. You’ll be contacted directly by Customs. We don’t know what these charges will be. This process also applies to gifts.

If you’re concerned, it’s best to contact your local customs organisation for advice before placing an order.

We can ship to 19 states in the US! If you’re in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont, Virginia or Wyoming, we will fulfil your order using an expert import partner. Transit times are 2-11 business days.

Single bottle rates start at £42.61, increasing to £121.37 for 10 bottles.

Rest of the world

We can ship to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea.
