Distilled at Braeval distillery ( Braes Of Glenlivet ) established in 1973,  This vintage carries the original name of Braes of Glenlivet  

Matured in first fill American oak casks this single has some rich fruity notes from the nose to the finish, a classic rare old style speyside singe malt    

Nose:    Very enticing with some rich fruity Sweet notes with aromas of orange marmalade. Hints of white chocolate with subtle hints of spices and shortbread. 

Palate:  Some rich and fruity flavours open the palate, including ripe peach apples and pears with some red berries and honey, subtle sweet honey and ginger add the classic speyside touch to this very enjoyable palate, with hints of creamy fudge intermingled with sweet coconut, the abundance of flavours leads to a long, spicy and dry finish.
