Distilled 1981 Matured in an Ex Bourbon oak cask until Bottling in 2018 

Nose: Charred oak, hints of cedar and spices, mellow vanilla and peppers, soft chewy toffee and salted popcorn, beechwood smoked cheese, fennel and honey, becoming mellow and creamy. 

Palate: A sweet and smoldering taste of salted toffee and lightly smoked meats, damson and dates adding a rich fruity note, bonfire baked vegetables, some white chocolate truffles and hints of marzipan, golden sponge cake and dry spices. 

A lingering rich Islay that keeps a balance of Islay and smoother notes in perfect harmony across the nose and palate.
