Glen Grant 1989 Mackillop's Choice 50.9% Vol - 70cl

Distilled May 1989 bottled in 2016

Nose: A great mix of aromas with fruity notes of red and black berries, traces of polished oak and soft honey richness, soft fruit cake with a ginger and demerara sugar topping, roasted peanuts and white chocolate truffle.

Through a little furniture polish and fruitcake richness comes peanut brittle, raspberry conserve and barley malt.

Palate: Sweet spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, dried apricots, shortbread with whipped cream and Dutch pancakes, apple strudel with poached pears, cookie dough with white chocolate buttons, vanilla and soft honey leading into a rich more vibrant notes of citrus and soft spices.

A great tasting classic Speyside vintage single malt.
