Glenallachie 9 Year Old 2013 Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads

Nose: Very forward rich and aromatic sweet and savoury tones, with dark fruits and spices, some toasted oak and soft berries, with a little cocoa powder and soft fruit cake notes adding a nice complexity to the nose. 

Palate: Smooth and savoury fruits, dark chocolate and caramel, blackcurrant's, hints of spice and figs with a touch of sweet pink grounded pepper, cinnamon and honey in equal parts add a rich mid palate, Eccles cake pastry, some candied orange and red currant jam, savoury notes rounding off the lingering rich palate. 

When you need a great after dinner dram for those nights in with friends or to simply relax with.
