Linkwood 2011 French Oak Ex-Calvados Barriques

After 18 months finishing in 225L French Oak Barriques which has previously held Calvados. .

Nose: Orchard fruits and a little soft sweet spice, hints of lemon drizzle icing, sliced green apple, cookie dough and sultana, white chocolate buttons, crispy honeycomb. 

Palate: A deliciously smooth and tangy opening, cooked apples, and pears with a dash of spices, some soft citrus and honey in the mid palate, fresh baked apple and cream sponge cake, nutmeg and toasted almond leading to the nice cinnamon and toffee. 

The perfect balance between cask and Sprit.
