So named after the railway company that serves the distillery, North British is the third largest grain distillery in Scotland. This 25-year-old, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, was distilled in Coffey stills corn and up to 20% malted barley making up the mash bill.
Nose: Confectionary tropical scents. Foam bananas, desiccated coconut, pineapple and papaya.
Palate: More tropical fruits on the palate, white chocolate and a little chilli heat.
Finish: Short and sweet with a little white pepper.
